Migrate from anywhere

Coming off another ecommerce platform or switching apps inside Shopify, the process is the same. If your current tool can export subscription data, we can bring it across.

Leaving another platform for Shopify? We take the subscription layer with you, alongside your Shopify store migration.

Not listed? Send us an export sample and we will confirm within a business day.

Payment tokens move, cards stay saved

Where your current gateway supports token transfer, subscribers are never asked to re-authorise. We coordinate directly with the gateway so the vaulted card follows the subscription.

Customer payment data is exported from your gateway by you or by the gateway's own team. For security reasons we never extract it on your behalf.

A Shopify-supported gateway is required for the migration to complete.

Supported payment providers

Payment methods are vaulted with your gateway, not with your subscription app. If your gateway stays the same, tokens carry across and nobody re-enters a card.

SAME GATEWAY BOTH SIDES

Vaulted payment methods transfer with the subscription. Billing dates, discounts and payment methods stay as they are, and customers take no action.

CHANGING GATEWAY

Tokens cannot move between providers, so affected customers re-authorise once. We stage this with a reminder sequence and hold the old plans until each one is confirmed.

What you get after the move

Four things merchants notice in the first month.

Lower cost per order

No revenue share on subscription orders. You pay a flat monthly fee, so growth does not raise the bill on every renewal.

Live in hours, not weeks

Plans, portal and widget are set up inside Shopify admin. Nothing sits in a separate checkout or a theme rebuild.

Retention built in

Pause, skip, swap, prepaid discounts and payment recovery are part of the app, not paid add-ons or third-party tools.

Support that answers

A named specialist during migration and 24/7 merchant support after it, over chat and email.

Every subscription scenario, from simple to complex

What gets migrated

We transfer the parts of your programme that customers can feel: price cadence, discounts, next charge date and payment method.

Plans and pricing

Pay-as-you-go, prepaid, fixed-term and one-time add-ons, including grandfathered prices no longer sold.

Payment and billing data

Vaulted tokens, retry outcomes, billing anchors and next charge dates for every active contract.

Customer and order history

Order counts, subscription start dates, delivery preferences and portal login continuity.

Discounts and legacy offers

Codes, stored subscriber discounts, loyalty pricing and offers you have stopped promoting but still honour.

Boxes and bundles

Build-A-Box configurations, fixed bundles, swap rules and per-cycle product limits.

Automations and integrations

Klaviyo flows, bulk update rules, notification templates and any webhook consumers you rely on.

How the migration runs

Five stages, one specialist, one shared plan document you can see at any point.

Step01

Assessment and plan

A migration specialist reviews your current plans, discounts, delivery rules and edge cases. You leave a call with owners, dates and a rollback path.

Step02

Data export and clean-up

We export subscription and customer data from your current tool, audit it for missing fields, expired cards and duplicate contracts, then hand back a clean file.

Step03

Rebuild and token transfer

Plans, prices, grandfathered pricing and discount codes are recreated. Payment tokens transfer with the gateway so subscribers keep their saved cards and next charge date.

Step04

Test cycle and QA

We run a real renewal on a sample of live subscriptions and check billing dates, product mapping, discounts, taxes and portal access. You get a report to sign off.

Step05

Cutover and aftercare

The switch is scheduled outside your billing peak. Your specialist stays on the first live billing cycles, watching failed charges and portal traffic with you.

Who does what

Every migration runs off one shared checklist. You own two items on it, we own the rest.

Import timeline: 3 to 10 business days from kickoff to cutover, depending on plan complexity.

Migration questions, answered

What merchants ask on the first call, in the order they usually ask it.

No. We freeze billing on the old app during the cutover window and align next charge dates in Fast so nobody is billed twice or early. Any subscription due inside the window is billed once, on schedule, by one system.

Not where your gateway supports token transfer, which covers Shopify Payments, Stripe, PayPal, Braintree, Authorize.net and Adyen. If your gateway cannot transfer tokens, we plan a customer-facing update campaign with you before the switch.

Most in-Shopify app moves complete in one to three business days. Migrations from another platform, or programmes with heavy custom logic, usually run one to two weeks including the test cycle.

The store stays open throughout. Subscriber portal access is paused for a short window during cutover, typically under an hour, and we schedule it outside your peak billing days.

Nothing. White-glove migration is included on every Fast plan, including the free tier. There is no per-subscription fee and no setup charge.

Your specialist stays with you for the first two billing cycles. The pre-migration snapshot is retained so any contract can be checked against its original state, and we keep the rollback path open until you sign off.

No. Fast installs as a Shopify app and the migration is run by our team. If your theme has custom subscription widgets from the old app, we will flag what needs removing and can hand your developer a short list.

They come across as they stand. Tiered subscriber discounts, promotional rates you no longer offer and one-off legacy prices are rebuilt in Fast so customers keep what they are on today.

Any Shopify subscription app that can export contract data, including Recharge, Yotpo, Bold, Seal, Skio, Loop, Appstle, PayWhirl, Subi and native Shopify Subscriptions, plus non-Shopify platforms such as WooCommerce, Magento, BigCommerce, Squarespace, Wix, Weebly, Chargebee, Recurly and Stripe Billing.

After cutover and after you have confirmed the first billing cycle looks right. We help you cancel the remaining contracts in the old app so nothing double-bills, then you uninstall it.
